The pigments disperse easily in water and aqueous binders thanks to a special treatment with dispersing agents. XSL pigments can also be used for wood stains due to their excellent water solubility. XSL pigments are very lightfast. Unusual effects can be obtained by sprinkling XSL-Pigment particles on a wet surface.
